After the floor plans and exterior elevation sketches are given final approval, the process of fine-tuning and documenting the design begins in CAD format (Computer Aided Design). This typically includes creating, dimensioning and noting a foundation plan, floor plans, exterior elevations, cross-sections and construction details. Working closely with a Structural Engineer, the structural drawings are also created.
